The South Shore Chapter of the Council of Canadians presents the Café Canada Series!

Café Canada brings members of the community together to discuss important topics, to gain information, and to exchange ideas in an atmosphere of mutual respect. Some of the topics that have been presented at Café Canada include: democracy, food issues, genetically modified food, publicly funded healthcare, trade agreements such as NAFTA and CETA, water as a human right, peak oil, tar sands, sustainability, energy, war in Afghanistan, Canadian sovereignty, the Security and Prosperity Partnership, fracking, uranium and the protection of the Nova Scotia wilderness.
